Horrible!!!!!! A quarter star wasn't possible. Took forever for the food. ( Only 2 tables and one guy at the bar, 9 people total)Waitress overlooked our food on the counter for over five minutes. While doing something else) Waitress ignored order of water until reminded. Portions were small for the price. Food quality was decent but 13 half fries(pieces) shouldn't be considered a side. I will never come back. Will tell everyone why they shouldn't come here. This was the second worst place I ate during our 7 day vacation. ( We ate out twice a day)
First in at 11 am on a Monday. We sat at the bar. Our server was quiet but efficient and courteous. The place as very clean and bright. Took a little bit for our food to arrive, but when it did it was fresh and flavorful. Would definitely return!
I've literally eaten everywhere in Summersville. It wouldn't even be fair to compare Craft Kings to any other place. They are a modern, artesian, family friendly restaurant with a decent menu. The first thing I noticed was the menu. It was apparent that it was professionally put together. It consisted of a nice selection ranging from sandwiches to steaks including salmon, chicken, wings, salads and a nice kids menu. Nearly everything is fresh, not frozen, and is served with sides that compliment the main course. I'd say the menu is simplistic genius. We had the rib eye steak and salmon. Both were cooked to a perfect medium. The server was top notch and very accommodating to my MANY questions. She deserves a raise. I'm always hard to deal with when it comes to food and she was amazing. She had a good knowledge of the menu and was very polite, friendly, and professional. I was impressed by how many things were made in house including all the sauces. The coffee among most things, is also sourced locally and was surprisingly palatable. It was bold, fresh, and rich. I had to meet the cooks who put our meal together. They were also polite, friendly, and professional. It was apparent when we were served our meal that it was made by passionate cooks who care about both the quality and presentation of the food. The staff and the quality of the food are going to be why Craft Kings is a successful restaurant. This is the very first positive review I've ever left for a restaurant and it was well deserved. I'll be a customer forever as long as the quality of food and service is as good as it was today. Definitely give them a try.
Craft Kings is a very clean, and very tasty restaurant. However, I came with a party of 8 and this place took such a long time getting the food to us. The place wasn’t even crowded! I think they have some serious logistical issues in the kitchen. Our server was kind and apologetic. Foods great! just move faster y’all and don’t prioritize new tables and the bar over other parties that already here.
Unique little place! They change their menu seasonally so there's always the potential of a new dining experience when you go. The owner often comes out and converses with diners and makes sure everyone is satisfied. Love how dedicated he is!
